Improvement and Performance Evaluation When Implementing a Distance-Based Registration

چکیده

An efficient location registration scheme is essential to continuously accommodate the increasing number of mobile subscribers and offer a variety multimedia services with good quality. The objective this study was analyze optimal size for area distance-based (DBR) by varying areas on cell-by-cell basis, not ring-by-ring basis. Using our proposed random walk mobility model, circumstances were analyzed obtain cells minimizing total signaling cost radio channels. Analysis results showed that between 4 7 in most cases. Our had less than an distance threshold 2 (the 7). Therefore, when DBR adopted, it must be implemented LA basis achieve performance.
